Charlotte Preece is an Assistant Educational Psychologist. Having completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton in 2000, she decided to work full time in business and was promoted from shop floor to Area Manager over a 14 year period within the same company. Having then taken redundancy in 2010 she took on a part-time role with a visual merchandising team at Debenhams to spend more time with her young family.

Once her children had started school Charlotte re-trained as a TA in order to pursue a change in career as she had always had a passion to work with children to help them to fulfil their learning potential. She gained a Level 3 TA qualification and worked and an SEN and EYFS TA in 2 different primary school settings before taking on the role of Specialist Speech & Language TA giving her the chance to work more strategically and with outside agencies.

Charlotte applied for and gained the role of Assistant Educational Psychologist with EPE early in 2022.

Outside of work she is a mum to two children who keep her very busy! She enjoys National Trust walks with her husband and the much -oved family pugapoo Lola, as-well as keeping fit and spending time with wider family and friends.
