Jen is a qualified Play Therapist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy (APAC/University of Chichester) and has been practicing since 2021, supporting children through creative, child centred therapeutic approaches.
Jen’s academic background includes a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and Health Sciences from the University of Liverpool and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of Surrey. This training underpins her practice, particularly fostering her interest in developmental trauma and the impact for children who have had contact with the criminal justice or safeguarding systems.
Jen has a strong safeguarding and child protection background, which ensures her commitment to ensure every child feels safe, heard and understood. Her approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect for each child’s unique story, supporting them to move toward healing, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
Outside of work, Jen enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places.
