Louise Parker is an Associate Play Therapist with extensive experience of working with children, young people and families within education. She completed her BSc in Psychology at the University of Derby in 2010 and has since undertaken further specialist therapeutic training. Louise is a certified Advanced Drawing & Talking Practitioner and SandStory Practitioner and has recently completed her Diploma in Play Therapy through APAC and the University of Chichester.
Louise has worked within education since 2008 across a range of roles, including as a Psychology Teacher and Senior Assistant Educational Psychologist. She is passionate about providing a safe, accepting and supportive therapeutic space in which children can express themselves, develop emotional understanding and work through their experiences at their own pace.
Outside of her professional role, Louise is a mum to three children. In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, reading, and watching psychological and crime dramas.
