Deborah Sinclair
Senior Play Therapist & Counsellor
Deborah Sinclair is a Senior Play Therapist & Counsellor with EPE who is registered with PTUK and the BACP. She obtained a BSc in Psychology from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2001 before spending a couple of years travelling in Japan and Peru and teaching English.
Having returned to the UK she worked as a Young Victims’ Case Worker specialising in Domestic Abuse before joining The Key Team in Wolverhampton as a Senior Therapeutic Education Worker/Senior Social Inclusion Worker where she worked for 3 years.
Deborah then took some time out to be a mum, during which she completed a Level 4 Advanced Certificate in Counselling. She then went on to work as a Volunteer Counsellor for Mentor Link.
In 2017 Deborah started her training to become a Play Therapist, completing her qualification with APAC Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy in association with Leeds Becket University in 2019. It was at this point that she joined EPE.
When she is not working Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and going on holiday!
