Dr Wendy Sillitoe is an experienced EP. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Nottingham in 2011 and initially worked for Dudley LA before moving south to work for West Berkshire EPS. Whilst working in West Berkshire she held a Senior Educational Psychologist role which involved her co-managing the Mental Health Support Teams in the LA. Wendy is passionate about supporting the emotional well-being and mental health needs of children, young people, families and school staff. She believes that early intervention and preventative work is crucial and has developed several workshops and training sessions for parents and school staff to contribute to whole school provision. Wendy has also been involved in the development and delivery of targeted individual and group therapeutic interventions, both child-focussed and parent-led, aimed at supporting mild to moderate mental health needs.
Wendy is also an accredited instructor for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England and she has delivered MHFA training for EPE in the past.
When she is not working, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling to new places and when she gets a chance to fit it in, going to the gym and swimming.
