Katie Spencer 

​Assistant Educational Psychologist

Katie Spencer is an Assistant Educational Psychologist. She completed her BSc (hons) in Psychology in 2016 at the University of Worcester, and her MSc in Psychology, in 2017 at the University of Birmingham.

Following graduation, Katie went on to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in numerous educational settings, where she supported children on a 1:1 basis. During her time as a Teaching Assistant, Katie has had Speech and Language training to support non-verbal children with Autistic Spectrum Condition, Nurture training as well as whole-class teaching experiences.

In between her work within schools, in 2019, Katie went backpacking for 3-months around South East Asia and New Zealand. In November 2023, Katie took up the post of Assistant Educational Psychologist with Educational Psychologists for Everyone.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys cycling trips with her family, weight training at the gym and going on walks with her family dog, Cleo - albeit slowly, as she is 17 years old!
