Sian Cox is a Specialist Teaching Assistant, Therapeutic Play Skills Practitioner and ELSA who has worked with EPE since 2016.
She initially trained as an NNEB and has over 17 years’ experience in working with children and young people within the Dudley Borough, successfully helping them to overcome significant learning needs and social, emotional and behavioural barriers. Sian has worked in a range of settings including nurseries, primary schools and behaviour support units. The majority of her experience was gained in a Dudley Pupil Referral Unit, supporting Primary and later Secondary children.
Having gained a wealth of experience in her previous roles, Sian is currently working in schools to support staff to implement recommendations provided following psychological assessments. She is also delivering 1:1 interventions for anger and anxiety management as well as play-based intervention sessions.
Sian is a mum to two children and in her spare time she loves to laugh lots and enjoy quality family time. She also loves reading, dancing, eating out, camping, BBQ’s and being outdoors...weather permitting!
